(English below)

ʼn Nuwe beoordelingproses tree in 2021 in werking.

Participation in the Association’s photography competition has grown year after year, and once again, we invite all our members to take part in the 2021 Amateur Photography Competition. The purpose of the competition is to expand the Association’s photographic portfolio. The categories are announced in February every year.

A new adjudication process will come into effect in 2021. The judges will assess each entry according to the themes and will provide constructive feedback using a scoring system to encourage members to improve their skills.

Entries will be adjudicated monthly and commendation will be as follows:

  • 60% to 74%: Bronze certificate
  • 75% to 89%: Silver certificate
  • 90% to 100%: Gold certificate

All commended photographs with full recognition of the photographer and branch will be included in a presentation at the Associations annual gala evening. The certificates will be added to the member’s online profile and winners may order the applicable badge via their branches.

Only the first-time bronze, silver, or gold certificate will be added automatically to the member’s online profile, but members may request subsequent certificates. All the photographs that were awarded certificates, will be added to the Association’s website monthly.

At the end of the year, an overall winner for each category will be announced, as well as Photograph of the Year. The member that wins the Photograph of the Year award, will be invited to the Association’s Gala evening.
