HUNTING DESTINATIONS
FOR HUNTERS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE USING A VERIFIED HUNTING DESTINATION

For quite some time members of the S A Hunters and Game Conservation Association asked for a national register of hunting destinations. It is important for a hunter planning a hunt to have the peace of mind that he/she is booking a hunt at a destination that has been “graded / verified” by an independent party.

The S A Hunters and Game Conservation Association appointed a national company, Africa Hunters Guide during 2008 to facilitate and compile through physical verification a list of hunting destinations and to regularly expand and update this data through the electronic media at:

www.africahuntersguide.com

This register verify all hunting destinations (hunting farms and outfitters) and hunting related activities (gun shops, taxidermists etc) in Southern Africa for the prospective local or international hunter in respect of the standard and availability of accommodation, cold room, slaughter facility, outfitter permits, ownership or concessions and membership.

A hunter planning a hunt can source a hunting destination by province or town at the hunting destination link www.africahuntersguide.com and the following information is supplied:

• Nearest town;
• Name of hunting destination;
• Contact details of hunting destination;
• Type of hunting destination eg. Trophy hunting, bow hunting etc.;
• Accommodation at hunting destination ( type eg. lodge, chalet, camping, etc.);
• Slaughter facilities;
• Cold room;
• Type of species at hunting destination;

Africa Hunters Guide lists hunting destinations from utilization of game to professional hunting facilities throughout Southern Africa in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania,  Zambia and Zimbabwe.
