Pig Meat Transport Permits

SA Jagters het na `n lang onderhandelinge met die Departement Landbou, Bosbou en Visserye se Direktoraat Dieregesondheid daarin geslaag om erkenning te kry as `n bedryfsorganisasie wat sy lede kan magtig om permitte uit te reik vir die vervoer van verwerkte wildevark-karkasse en -vleis. Hierdie vergunning is toegestaan ingevolge Regulasie 20 van die Wet op Dieresiektes No 35 van 1984.

SA Hunters concluded intensive discussions with the Directorate Animal Health of the  Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to be recognised as an industry organisation whose members may issue permits for the transport of processed wild pig carcasses and meat. This permission was granted in terms of Regulation 20 of the Animal Diseases Act, No  35 van 1984.
